In reply to Choclette. Hi Choclette, I found it recently at a supermarket here in the U.S. It is whole wheat flour that looks and acts much more like all-purpose flour. It is nearly white and ground more finely. Great for waffles, pancakes, quick breads, pizza, etc, but not as finely ground as whole wheat pastry flour.

Hmmm, not entirely clear what white whole wheat flour is. Presumably it’s not stone ground? I shall have to investigate. But I love the sound of your waffles. What a clever and delicious idea.
