Kiwi Pineapple Sorbet

This easy fruit sorbet is refreshing and light: a perfect healthy summer dessert! Dairy-free and made with just a little maple syrup.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chopped in 1/2" pieces
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Equipment

  • Food Processor
  • Loaf pan
  • Rubber spatula

Method
 

  1. Cut the kiwi in half and scoop out the fruit with a spoon. Chop it roughly.
  2. Place the kiwi, pineapple pieces, lime juice, and maple syrup into into the food processor and blend until smooth: 20 - 30 seconds, scraping down sides of bowl if needed.
  3. With a rubber spatula, scrape out contents and spread into a metal bread pan. Freeze for 2 hours.
  4. To serve, pull out from freezer about 15 minutes before scooping.
